Yoga

Yoga is a wide set of ancient and effective techniques that help us uncover reality.  This means knowing who we are, making decisions that support our own truth and health, seeing when habits, beliefs or emotions get in our way, and finding the courage, compassion and freedom to act in accordance with our own truth.

Private Yoga Sessions

Private sessions are a wonderful way to get started with yoga, to focus or refine your practice, or to rehabilitate from an injury.  Sessions can be done individually or in small groups.

Yoga Therapy

Yoga therapy applies the tools and techniques of yoga for therapeutic benefit.  This includes movements and posture to stretch, strengthen, align and balance your body; alignment and awareness practices to integrate body and mind and help you keep the benefits of massage sessions; breathing techniques to coordinate and engage deeper core muscles and to calm your mind and nervous system; meditation and mindfulness practices to relieve stress, work with challenging emotions or physical pain, and quiet mental chatter; and dialogue to help you gain insight into behaviors, belief systems, and emotional and physical experiences.

I teach weekly classes at Island Yoga Center, 17520 Vashon Hwy SW #225,
in the Thriftway Shopping Center in the center of town.
